Pastor
Scott Pollard
Pastor Daniel “Scott” Pollard Sr., Is a credentialed minister of the Gospel. He has pastored 4 previous Churches with his beautiful wife Elaine by his side.
Pastor Scott and Elaine met at Middlesex High School where they both graduated, fell in love, and shortly afterward got married. Pastor Scott went on to graduate from Newport News Apprentice School and then Valley Forge Christian College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Bible and Pastoral Ministry. After serving at Salem Community Church for two years, as a fill in first and then as an interim Pastor, Scott and Elaine realized how much they had come to love the Salem Community Church Family and gratefully accepted the Pastorate from a very patient and caring congregation.
Pastor Scott also works full time at a local Funeral Home and is the Pastor at Grey's Point Campground in Topping, VA.
Pastor Scott believes God has called him to the Salem Community. He also is convinced that northern Gloucester is a place that God will pour out His Holy Spirit saving souls in the power of Jesus name!

Church Secretary
Prior to entering answering his call to Ministry, Sean had over 20 years' experience in the photofinishing industry. When the industry turned from cameras and chemicals to pixels and cell phones, it brought him to reevaluate and ask the age old question, 'what do I do with this degree in English.' For a person who loves the study of words, the answer is plain study The Word. From ODU to VCU and eventually to Lexington Theological; Sean has put this study to use in serving his community across Central Virginia. Whether it is his presence in the King and Queen Resource Council, sitting as the Co-chair with the Friends of King and Queen Library, as secretary for the Goochland Council of Churches, or standing in the pulpit of several area churches; For Sean, and for Salem, there is no shortage of commitment in the pursuit to share God's love across this good creation.
